Shui Niu Jiao Di Huang modifed(LPI) is designed for conditions marked by heat penetrating to the deeper levels of the body. It is especially indicated for persistent high or low-grade fevers that worsen at night, restlessness, irritability, and difficulty sleeping. Patients may present with a red tongue, dryness of the mouth or throat, dark or purplish skin eruptions, or rashes that do not resolve. It also supports cases with bleeding tendencies - such as nosebleeds, blood in the stool, or heavy menstrual bleeding - arising from heat damaging the blood level.
